Chapter 2/3 – The Journey/ The Arrival

° At any point in the story take a guess as to how the story (plot) will go on or finally conclude. What is going to happen.

In the last chapter Eddie died. In the story he described how he felt and what has happen at the moment. He says that the amusement park is looking like it was as he was a child, 75 years ago. In the book he represent the appearance of the amusement park.

So now it’s hard to guess in which way the story will go on. I have already read the next title which is called “The First Person Eddie Meets in Heaven”. The title says he will meet someone and there will probably be five people that he meets. I’m exited to know who are these guys and what their character is like. Regarding the end of this book I have no idea in which direction it could go, but I hope it will be a happy end.

Chapter 1- The End

° Write down your first impressions of the book. Ask some questions. Write down quotations. Copy whole passages that are difficult or that you really like a lot.

The beginning of this book is quite different than the other books I’ve ever read, but diffrent is another word for interesting. The first sentence in this chapter is: “This is a story about a man named Eddie and it begins at the end, with Eddie dying in the sun”. In the beginning I thought was it really a good idea to choose this novel althouh the more I read, the more I was taken into the story. Is it good to start a book with the ending of a live?

A known Quotation said: “Who dares, wins”.

The author Mitch Albom did that and the result is just amazing. In the first chapter he makes also a lot of voltage especially in the last few lines. On one hand it makes you want read on, on the other hand you think it’s already over because the man dies. Curiosity triumphs over me.
